Class 5: Canine Behavior and Handling

The most common injury to the professional groomer is being bitten. Understanding how to communicate with canines can help to prevent these injuries as well as make the grooming process more enjoyable for everyone. This certification class will help you to understand canine body language as well as ways to handle different types of stress, fear, and aggression.

Exam Types: One written exam and one practical exam 

Exam Fees: $65 for each exam, $45 to retake an exam
